David Morris, M.D. joined Kelsey-Seybold in March 2010. He is certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics by the American Board of Family Physicians. He cares for his patients at our Katy Clinic.
Professional Background
Dr. Morris completed high school at St. Mark's School of Texas in Dallas in 1967. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 1970. He then earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1974. Dr. Morris completed a residency in Family Medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth in 1977.
Dr. Morris came to Kelsey-Seybold Clinic from Ellington Memorial Clinic, LLP, Atlanta, Texas, of which he was owner and director of Information Technology and Electronic Health Records. While there, he practiced Adult Medicine, Pediatrics and Geriatrics. He also served as Medical Director of the Geriatric Psychiatric Unit at Atlanta Memorial Hospital and was Permanent Chairman of Quality Assurance Committee for the hospital. Dr. Morris also served as the Medical Director of the Rose Haven Retreat Nursing Home.
Clinical Interests Dr. Morris is interested in the full spectrum of Family Medicine and in the application of medical technology such as electronic medical records.

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Morris enjoys spending time with his wife, and supporting their two daughters and grandchildren. An avid learner, Dr. Morris studies French and travels to France as often as possible. He also stays active by running, walking and bicycling.
