Hewitt Associates has just released the latest findings of its annual Health Value Initiative survey, which benchmarks all health plans in all major metropolitan areas on both quality measures and total cost. For the fifth year, KelseyCare has been named by Hewitt Associates as “Houston's most cost-effective health care plan.” Click here to read the the full report.
According to Hewitt Associates, KelseyCare’s cost effectiveness is 19 percent better than the average PPO, 22 percent better than the average POS plan, and 14 percent better than the HMO market average. The analysis normalizes for plan design and demographics.
